Safeguarding Support Limited is able to support your setting or organisation with all their safeguarding training needs.
Our whole setting Safeguarding and Child Protection Awareness Training is regularly updated in line with the latest legislation and best practice guidance. The sessions are designed to be fully flexible and tailored for individual sector needs, whether that be education, early years, sport, VCS or organisation. We are now able to offer flexible delivery of the session, whether it is on your site, live and virtual or recorded, at a time that meets your requirements -morning, afternoon, twilight or a whole day. This allows all staff and volunteers to receive the same key messages, understanding and brings them and the setting fully up-to-date with the latest statutory guidance, Keeping children safe in education (2020), Working together to safeguard children (2018), Early Years Statutory Framework (2017) etc.
In addition to our flexible delivery offerings, we have introduced further options for our safeguarding and child protection training.
Our ‘enhanced safeguarding and child protection’ session includes an online participant assessment which supports MAT’s, governing bodies and proprietors to meet their responsibilities under Keeping children safe in education. Our assessment pass rate is 80%, any staff/volunteer not achieving the pass rate will be identified and flagged up to the above stakeholders, allowing them to carry out an internal review of further support requirements. Therefore, ensuring that those responsible for managing safeguarding within their settings, have a mechanism in place to identify any areas of concern or required learning, as well as, assisting staff to understand and discharge their safeguarding role and responsibilities.
