Description
Keeping Children Safe in Education states that children can be exploited by adult males or females, as individuals or groups, and may also be exploited by other children who in turn need to be recognised as a victim. Such exploitation can overlap, with perpetrators subjecting children to multiple forms of abuse such as criminal exploitation and sexual exploitation, and the challenges for recognising and protecting children from such harm include those within the family, in the wider community and online.
This 2-hour session acknowledges the breadth of issues in this area and the evolving target demographic of the victims. Using embedded videos and scenarios to increase confidence, develop understanding and engage learners to apply the knowledge to their cohort.
Available for onsite and virtual delivery.
