Content

-
Use of reasonable force and seclusion - examine expectations and how legislative shifts influence behaviour management and safeguarding approaches.

Role of the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) in managing concerns about adults working with children and young people. Drawing on the Children’s Commissioner for England’s recent findings, we will clarify the LADO’s responsibilities in responding to both allegations and low-level concerns.

Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their current safeguarding culture, identify gaps, and plan actionable steps to strengthen policies, procedures, and professional oversight.
